We had an engineering challenge today! Students had 10 minutes build a tower using 20 index cards and 12 inches of tape. Here are the results! I am very impressed with their creations!!! Students are doing great on their multiplication tests!
6's, 7's and 8's are coming up. These are the most difficult for students to master! Please continue to practice and make sure your students can answer in 1 minute! A BIG thank you to all the parents who made it out to Math Night. For those who missed it, please see the presentation below for more information. Keep practicing those math facts!!!
As Quarter 1 draws to a close, we are continuing our work with multiplication and division. Students learned to decipher the theme of the story and are now working on their second personal narrative. In science, we learned about bees!
*Over Track Out, have students practice their multiplication facts from 0-12! This will help them immensely! A handout was sent home with several websites. You may also buy a pack of multiplication cards! Upcoming Events:
